Romania laid bare weaknesses of Portugal
The national team of XV was released in Europe Rugby Championship with a defeat, the sevens fulfilled in New Zealand.

The victory in November against Namibia had fairly high morale of the national team and created great expectations around the renovation underway in the Portuguese team, but yesterday at University Stadium in Lisbon, Portugal Romania did come down to earth. Before a team with many miles in the legs and uses and abuses his physical strength, the young national training was dominated and beat, clearly, by 10-37.
The story made the traditional Romanian clear superiority (only three wins in 23 clashes Portugal), but 14 years ago that Romania could not as comfortable victory in Lisbon. No players across the world represented early Saturday the national team at the World Circuit and sevens over a dozen potential absent holders (about the game, others for “unavailability”), Portugal presented with a team in nine of the members were under 23 years.
About half a year to compete in the World 2015, Romania opened in Lisbon with a very different Shooting. With only one player under 27 years in the “XV”, the Romanians dominated from the kick-off and the first 40 minutes, while put the throttle, left bare the weaknesses of Portugal in the ever decisive duel advanced. With the game decided and again 15 players on both sides, Portugal has finally show up offensively and eventually score a good test, 48 ‘, by Nuno Penha and Costa (10-30). In the following minutes the Portuguese team returned to be near the test line, but it would be Romania, 12 minutes from time to make room test, which set the final result in 10-37.
In the remaining games of the first round of the competition, Georgia, opponent of Portugal next weekend, week, traveled to Heusenstamm and gave no chance to Germany: the Germans, who replaced Belgium, were hit by at home for 8-64 . The surprise, however, happened in Spain, where the Spanish, with several players who line up in the French Championships, defeated clearly Russia: 43-20.
