It is with great delight that the Cyprus Rugby Federation are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Phil Llewellyn as the Head Coach of the Cyprus National Rugby Team – “The Moufflons”.
Phil has coached at many levels – Club, University, County, Divisional and National; he has significant experience coaching and managing in all spectrum’s of the game: Youth, Woman, Sevens and XVs.
Currently studying a BSc in Sports Coaching, he is the Director of Rugby and Head Coach at Nuneaton Rugby Club and recently travelled to the World University Sevens Championship in Brazil, coaching the Great Britain team to first place in the Men’s Competition.
The 2014/16 Season will see Cyprus compete in Rugby Europe’s ENC Division 2B with Andorra, Hungary, Latvia and Lithuania. First game of the season is on 1 November 2014 against Andorra at the Pafiakos Stadium.
