With less than two years to go before Rugby World Cup 2015 kicks off and just in time for the festive season shopping rush, central London is the location for a new Rugby World Cup store stocking a full range of official merchandise.

Sportfolio, the official apparel and retail licensee for RWC 2015 opened the store today at Westfield in London W12. This follows the successful opening of the first shop in Kingston last month and plans are underway for a further flagship store to open in the heart of the capital city.

The announcement caps an exciting week for the global Rugby family following the announcement of the kick-off times and ticketing strategy for the six-week, 48-match celebration of the sport. Fans can now start to plan.

Sportfolio Chief Executive Ross Munro said: “We are delighted to have secured such a high-profile site to bring the new RWC 2015 apparel ranges into market just in time for the busiest shopping period of the year. We are sure customers will find something for the Rugby-loving person in their lives.”

“Our first ‘prop-up’ store in the Bentall Centre, Kingston-upon-Thames, is trading well and we are very grateful for the support we are receiving from shoppers since we opened last month.”

The new Westfield store will showcase the full range of RWC 2015 apparel including the latest range of the prestigious Webb Ellis Cup collection. Supporter ranges for the first 12 countries to book their places at RWC 2015 will be arriving in store and online in the next couple of weeks.

For customers who are unable to visit either of the stores, you can view and buy all the ranges online at the official online store for RWC 2015 with delivery available worldwide. Click here for more details.
