The J.J. Stewart Trophy

Following last weekend’s win over Otago, Canterbury are now the holders of the J.J. Stewart trophy, which is played for on a challenge basis. The trophy is named after former All Blacks Coach and NZRFU Councillor John, who was an avid women’s rugby supporter and advocate. The trophy pre-dates the WPC, but was held by Auckland since 1995 until 28 September, 2013. It will be on the line again this weekend.
